Depart the Boat Ramp:
Head west on 2nd Ave N toward N 23rd St.
Turn Right onto Florida A1A N:
Continue for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with A1A N / SR-10 (near the Beach Blvd/Atlantic Blvd corridors).
Turn right (North) onto A1A N.
Continue North on A1A / Mayport Rd:
Follow A1A N for approximately 6.5 miles. As you move north, this road becomes Mayport Rd.
Note: You will pass through the Atlantic Beach area and head toward the Mayport Naval Station vicinity.
Turn Right onto Ocean St:
After passing the main commercial areas of Mayport, look for Ocean St (near the St. Johns River Ferry entrance).
Turn right onto Ocean St.
Arrive at Old River Boat Storage:
Follow Ocean St for about 0.3 miles.
Old River Boat Storage will be on your left at 4837 Ocean St
Step-By-Step Direction
Exit Big Talbot Island State Park:
Head south toward the park exit and turn left (south) onto Heckscher Drive (SR A1A / Jimmy Buffett Memorial Highway).
Continue South on Heckscher Drive (~11.5 miles):
You will pass through Little Talbot Island State Park.
Continue over the bridges crossing the Fort George Inlet and the marshes.
Stay on Heckscher Drive for approximately 11 miles until you approach the St. Johns River Ferry terminal.
Take the St. Johns River Ferry:
Follow the signs for the Mayport Ferry. You will need to board the ferry to cross the St. Johns River.
Note: Check the ferry schedule beforehand, as it usually runs every 30 minutes.
Exit Ferry in Mayport:
Once you exit the ferry on the south side of the river, you will be on A1A / Ocean Street.
Arrive at Destination:
Drive straight for about 0.2 miles after exiting the ferry landing. Old River Boat Storage will be on your left at 4837 Ocean Street
